Happy belated Thanksgiving and December to anyone reading! I hope you’re enjoying the holidays and not bah humbug-ing them. I’m kind of an in-betweener, myself. I love listening to the Rat Pack Christmas albums and pretending Florida weather is cold enough to apply to “Baby it’s Cold Outside” … but it totally isn’t.
Floridians have to make the most of the season by attending festive events as often as possible (and maybe by surrounding ourselves with twinkly lights, cookies, and hot cocoa). Last night Nick’s mom invited us to New World Brewery’s Annual Holiday Ale Tasting in Ybor City. Plenty of great holiday brews, my favorite being Founders’ Big Lushious – an incredibly satisfying chocolate raspberry stout, and Cigar City’s Winter Warmer, kind of a spicy, more wine-y style beer. I also plan on taking full advantage of Tampa Theatre’s Sunday holiday movie screening all through the month. Lots to see, do, and be grateful for this season.
There’s nothing really new with the Invisalign treatment except my self-discipline is STILL wavering. But, that smile is growing like crazy.
Here’s my Set 8 photo, complete with Nick who snuck in for it:
